I earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University, and I hold a bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University. I have taught for over 15 years, and I am a certified mentor teacher to other teachers from kindergarten through eighth grade. I am certified to teach at both the elementary and middle school levels. I tutor and teach English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.

Adapting tutoring to a student's needs involves a flexible and individualized approach. First, I assess learning styles to tailor activities to their preferences, whether visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. Collaboratively setting personalized goals ensures alignment with their interests and academic requirements. I modify instructional strategies by using diverse teaching methods, such as hands-on activities and technology, while providing differentiated resources that match their reading level. Adjusting the pacing of instruction allows students to fully grasp concepts. Incorporating their interests into lessons increases engagement, and offering continuous feedback guides their progress. Finally, I foster independence by teaching strategies that promote critical thinking and self-directed learning.
