I enjoy teaching and helping students decipher the complex study of biology and life sciences. I also have experience with teaching test taking strategies for the ACT science section. When I am meeting a new student, I like to assess their base knowledge with an inquiry into typically covered topics and grade level expectations. Once I identify student's weak points, I design a plan to bridge the gaps and strengthen learning. I encourage students to have their notes, classwork assignments, and recent test with them as to help me assess what topics they are working on and how their teacher is assessing their knowledge.
