I am enrolled as a PhD student in Biostatistics. I currently hold a Master of Science in mathematics (statistics). My areas of expertise are probability and statistics, high school math (algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus), college math (pre-calculus and calculus), and micro-economics.

Biostatistics 6030. Really helped. Great teacher . Knows info inside and out and presents in a clear and understandable way .fabulous resource.

Randall was so helpful and professional. He assist me with regressions analysis and T tests. He really made things so much easier to understand.

We reviewed for a test. We worked on hypothesis formation. We reviewed the differences and similarities between the Z, t, and chi-square distributions. We reviewed the difference in proportions versus the difference in means.

He enabled me to understand the relationship of confidence intervals with z and t scores. An easy guying and very patient guy; he was able to help me even though I fully didn't understand how to ask questions about my material.

He is an absolute rockstar and explains statistical concepts in a crystal clear manner. I give him my highest recommendation--just don't book him too much, because I'll be working with him a lot in the future! ;-P

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. I have passed the first actuarial test (Exam P) and have taken the coursework for the next 2 (Exam FM and Exam MFE) and received an A in both of those classes. I have completed the coursework for an MS in mathematics with a specialization in actuarial science. In my day to day work in the tutoring center at the University of New Orleans, I frequently tutor actuarial science students.

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Biostatistics at Tulane University. I have mastered the content of the general biostatistics courses which are frequently called introduction to biostatistics or intermediate biostatistics. Advanced classes that I have mastered include non-parametric statistics, experimental design, regression analysis, categorical analysis, and clinical trials.

I have an MS in mathematics from the University of New Orleans.

Econometrics is statistics applied to economic data. I am pursuing a PhD in statistics and my undergraduate major was economics. I am qualified to teach this class at the graduate level.

In the spring semester of 2014, I received an A in graduate level linear algebra. The topics covered included inner product spaces, dual spaces, canonical forms, the spectral theorem, quadratic forms, operators, the classical groups, multi-linear algebra and applications. This class had an emphasis on proofs to ensure a deep understanding of the topics and concepts involved.

In my current research, I use linear algebra on nearly a daily basis. I teach statistics, and require a basic understanding of linear algebra and its applications.

As a statistics graduate student, I use SAS on a daily basis. Specifically, I use it for single and multiple regression analysis. I have used it for categorical and survival data analysis. I write about 1 SAS program per week and complete about 4 major projects a semester.
