Hi, I'm Raeed! I am a Junior Mechanical Engineering Student at Lehigh University. Throughout my time at high school and university, I have realized how vital being a good teacher is to a student's success. You actually looked forward to their classes, and time went by in a whiz. Being a bad teacher/professor will, however, keep the students scrolling on their phones and checking the time every instant. I prioritize proactive learning. I will review each topic the student covers before the tutoring session to ensure I never stumble. So far, I have had no professional teaching experience, but I believe my speciality is connecting with the students(given I can relate to their position).
I believe I have sufficient knowledge to teach Mathematics and Science(Physics, Chemistry, Biology) related topics to K-12 students. I took Calculus 1,2,3, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Chemistry 030(transferred), and Physics 1 and 2(transferred) at Lehigh. My SAT score was a 1500. At my high school, the Aga Khan School, Dhaka, Bangladesh, I gave the GCE A levels in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Maths, which enabled me to transfer 18 credits at Lehigh University. So I definitely have a varied educational experience. While I dont have any history degrees or such, I am an avid reader of history and firmly know I am qualified to teach it.
As a new tutor, I wholeheartedly welcome any suggestions that students/parents will provide me for improvement. My ultimate wish is for the students to leave satisfied and have a rock-hard foundation in whatever they're learning.
