I am a Medical Resident with a consistent record of academic excellence, including a +270 on the USMLE Step 2 CK. I maintained a perfect GPA throughout high school, college, and medical school, graduating summa cum laude with honors. My academic background provides a strong foundation in the sciences, allowing me to tutor a wide range of subjects including high school math and science as well as medical school coursework such as anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
I have several years of experience tutoring students ranging in level from middle school to medical school, consistently helping them achieve meaningful improvements in both performance and confidence. My teaching has primarily been one-on-one, allowing me to tailor each session to the individual student’s needs and learning style. Through this experience, I have developed an approach that focuses not only on mastering material, but also on building the underlying skills required to learn effectively and think critically. I have found that many students struggle not because of a lack of ability, but because they have not yet developed an efficient framework for approaching new information.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes deep conceptual understanding over rote memorization. Rather than focusing on isolated facts or rigid problem-solving steps, I help students understand why concepts work, when to apply them, and how they connect to broader ideas.
