Hi there, my name is Jenna, and I would love to help your student succeed! I am currently a full-time Algebra 2 teacher at GW Carver High School in New Orleans, LA. I was a tutor long before I was a full-time teacher, and I worked for several years as a private ACT/SAT tutor. I know the ins and outs of the college entrance exam process and am familiar with all of the changes that have been made to the ACT and SAT exams in recent years. As a tutor, my favorite subjects to teach are secondary-level math (Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus) and ACT/SAT prep (all content areas), but I feel comfortable teaching most secondary-level courses.
In the classroom, my experience ranges from grades 7-12. I am certified to teach in the state of Texas and am currently working on obtaining my certification in the state of Louisiana, where I graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans in 2021.
