Hello! My name is Faith, and I’m a Cornell University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a concentration in Pre-Veterinary Medicine, along with a minor in English. My academic background includes a broad range of biology-based and physiology courses, as well as advanced math and writing. This combination has allowed me to build strong analytical thinking and communication skills—two things I bring to every tutoring session.

I’ve been tutoring for over three years, helping students from elementary through post-graduate levels in biology, English, and math. I’ve worked with students preparing for exams, building study skills, and regaining confidence after struggling in school. My experience includes both one-on-one and small group instruction, and I’m especially skilled at helping students who learn best through structure, visual explanations, and patience.

My approach to tutoring is adaptive, engaging, and student-centered. I take time to understand each student’s learning style so I can explain material in a way that clicks. I emphasize understanding over memorization and use practical examples to make learning feel relevant and rewarding.

Above all, my passion for teaching comes from my own love of learning and the mentors who inspired me. I understand how much the right support can change a student’s confidence, and I strive to provide that same encouragement for each learner I meet. My goal isn’t just to help students perform well academically, it’s to help them believe in their ability to succeed.
