I am certified in the state of LA in K-5 & Educational Leadership. I started my career as a substitute teacher and have served in many roles throughout my career including Assistant Principal. Those who know me, know I value building relationships with students and mentoring the whole person. It is my duty to provide the necessary strategies & skills that will help our scholars be successful beyond the classroom.
Tutoring is a partnership. I value the participants thoughts on what they feel they need to be successful. I foster the student's style of learning (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc) to deepen the scholars understanding of the content. Learning is engaging. We find the area of weakness and create a plan, I provide the strategies & skills needed to be successful, we progress monitor & adapt where necessary & with hard work & dedication we see a flower blossom.
