After graduating from law school and beginning my practice, I also started coaching speech and debate at my former high school. Over the next five years, I discovered my true passion lies in sharing what I've learned with students. Tutoring has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I'm excited to connect with each new student and become a part of their academic journey.

I hold a J.D. and a Graduate Degree in Comparative Law from LSU, and I scored in the top 10% of LSAT test takers. My LSAT score, academics, and personal statement earned me a full-tuition scholarship to LSU Law. As a tutor, my aim is not only to help students get into their school of choice but also to equip them with the foundational reasoning skills essential for success as law students and attorneys.

My strong background in formal logic, including dedicated year-long studies in both high school and college, allows me to explain the underlying rationale for each LSAT question type with greater depth and clarity than you'll find in typical commercial preparation materials. I use custom diagnostic tools to evaluate your strengths and identify areas with the most potential for improvement. Together, we will develop a personalized study plan addressing every question type you'll encounter, ensuring you walk into the testing room with 100% confidence in your ability to achieve your target score. I provide access to all necessary official practice questions, exams, and drill sets, including customized practice sets focused specifically on your weaknesses.

Most importantly, I take a genuine interest in the success of each and every one of my students. I strive to provide a patient, positive, and structured learning environment where your skills and confidence can grow in tandem. Message me if you'd like to discuss how I can help you achieve your goals! I look forward to helping you succeed!

Awesome LSAT Tutor!

I could not recommend working with Joseph more! Before our first session, I felt super stagnant and wasn't sure how to move forward with the LSAT, but he immediately created a plan that targeted my weaknesses. The way he explained formal logic gave me a ton of confidence with foundational concepts and how to approach difficult LR questions. I genuinely walked into the test feeling prepared and capable. If you're looking for an LSAT tutor who delivers tangible results, I highly recommend Joseph!!

Awesome, helpful tutor!

Joseph has seriously been such a game-changer in my LSAT prep journey. In a matter of just a few weeks, he helped me raise my score up 10+ points so far, and I am taking the test again so I may raise that number even more! He is clearly very knowledgable about the test and logical reasoning in general, but he still maintains a patient and kind demeanor when I'm having trouble understanding. He also goes above and beyond expectations, as he has been available to answer any questions or concerns I have regarding the LSAT (and law school applications in general) pretty much any time of the day! He even offered to look at and revise my personal statement for me, which I greatly appreciated. Choosing Joseph as your LSAT tutor is not a decision you will regret!!

LSAT Tutoring

Working with Mr. Wright has been a game-changer in my LSAT preparation. From our very first session, he demonstrated not only a deep mastery of the exam content but also a unique ability to break down complex concepts into digestible, easy-to-understand strategies. Mr. Wright is incredibly patient, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in his students’ success. He tailors each session to target specific areas of improvement while continuously reinforcing foundational skills. His approach to logical reasoning and reading comprehension has significantly boosted my confidence and performance in those sections.

Very knowledgeable and patient

I am very grateful and pleased with having Joseph as my tutor. I am currently taking a Grant Writing class that I know a little more about, now that I've found him. Joseph helped me understand how to write a needs statement, goals and objectives to make my grant proposal look professional and relevant. For anyone who needs help with writing grants, Joseph is definitely the tutor to go to. He is very patient, humble and thorough. He also encourages questions, if any, on the day of submission for students who need last-minute confidence or clarity.
