My teaching style is that of rigor and comedy. I try always to relate the material we are learning to modern day events. Teaching Latin through the scope of English only bolsters a student's understanding of both languages. My students will tell you that I am attentive, demanding, funny, and caring all wrapped in one. I believe in teaching Latin as a system rather than a set of rules that must be memorized. I prefer teaching the "how" instead of the "what" when it comes to grammar.
