Bio

My name is Brooke and I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Management of Information Systems. I played college golf on scholarship at University of Central Arkansas. I played golf professionally after I graduated and had some top 15 finishes. I decided the professional lifestyle wasn't for me. Having said that, I am ready to live my other life long dream, becoming an elementary school math teacher. I come from a very loving and hard working family who is there for me every step of the way....

I played golf professionally after I graduated and had some top 15 finishes. I decided the professional lifestyle wasn't for me. Having said that, I am ready to live my other life long dream, becoming an elementary school math teacher. I come from a very loving and hard working family who is there for me every step of the way.

I am currently studying for the Praxis I and Praxis II exam for my next step. I have 5+ years of experience with tutoring and teaching kids in Math. I currently tutor kids who have improved so much and also in the past, have tutored both my little cousins, age 12 and age 10; and they improved by whole letter grades!

I am an extremely hard worker, with a dream and passion that is untouchable. I have the motivation and dedication that is needed to help all students achieve a positive outlook in school.

One of my biggest strengths in life is my heart. When tutoring kids, it is important to know each students strengths and weaknesses. I have a variety of different ways to teach because every child learns differently. I teach in a positive environment where I will not tolerate any bullying and negativity. Teaching, simply put, is my life, my passion, and my dream.

With the experience and passion I have with teaching kids, I am confident that I will be a great tutor. I don’t strive for average. I strive for perfection.

I have been playing golf since I was 15 years old. I am a high school women's golf coach. I had 2 years of experience of working for a variety of different golf associations. I was also the Junior Golf Specialist for Big Easy Golf Academy. I currently give private lessons on my own time to help others out. I have played competitive golf in college and professionally. Kind, Patient, Dependable, Knowledgeable

We are so pleased with our decision in making the call to WyzAnt and choosing Brooke to tutor our son. We have struggled with multiplications which is now leading with struggles in other areas of math. I was concerned having an 8 yr. old boy working on math for 2 hours that the end result would be unpleasant. Brooke assured us that she had several treats and tricks up her sleeve to keep him happy, attentive, and learning. I am so excited and thrilled that she followed through on her word. She is truly a gifted teacher with patience and knowledge to lead your child. She arrived at our home 15 min. early to have introductions and went right to work.
