As a tutor, I strive to share my passion for mathematics and related fields with my students, fostering a deep, intuitive understanding of complex concepts rather than mere rote memorization. My academic journey began at Spring Hill College, where I majored in Actuarial Mathematics. During my time there, I earned multiple awards and honors, graduating magna cum laude. Following this, I pursued an MS in Financial Economics from Texas A&M, further solidifying my expertise.

With a specialization that spans across all ranges of mathematics, economics, finance, and data science, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my teaching. My professional journey includes four enriching years of teaching at the University of Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and the University of North Texas Health Science Center. As an adjunct professor, I have guided master's students through challenging curricula, helping them develop a robust understanding of their subjects.

In my full-time role as a data scientist, I work extensively with complex machine learning models, data visualization, and Python coding. This practical experience enhances my teaching, allowing me to provide students with real-world applications of the theoretical concepts we cover. I am also a CFA candidate, continuously expanding my knowledge and staying at the forefront of the finance industry.

My teaching philosophy centers on a holistic approach. I aim to make my students see the beauty and logic in mathematics and related disciplines. By encouraging them to grasp the underlying principles and connections between concepts, I help them build a strong foundation that will serve them well in their academic and professional pursuits. My goal is not just to teach but to inspire a lifelong love for learning and discovery in my students.
