I enjoy helping students turn difficult material into something they can understand and feel confident using. I earned a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and completed 36 graduate credit hours toward an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration at Nicholls State University, where I earned a 3.5 GPA. My graduate coursework included learning design, adult learning, instructional strategies, educational leadership, research, and assessment. I also hold a National Tutoring Association Tutor Certification, 120-hour advanced TESOL certification, and TEFL certification.

I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience with elementary, middle, high school, college, graduate, and adult learners. From 2023–2026, I tutored elementary and middle school mathematics with Cignition, later expanding into middle and high school math. I provided individualized online instruction focused on mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, conceptual understanding, and confidence. I also tutored undergraduate and graduate students in human resources, business, organizational behavior, leadership, talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, and professional communication through Pear Deck Learning.

My tutoring approach is personalized and supportive. I first identify what a student understands and where they are struggling, then adjust my explanations, examples, practice, and pacing to meet their needs. I use step-by-step instruction, real-world examples, guided practice, questions, and immediate feedback to help students understand concepts rather than simply memorize answers. As a Learning and Development Consultant since 2022, I have continued providing one-on-one instruction, coaching, career preparation, and individualized learning support to learners and professionals from diverse backgrounds.
