I just finished teaching at Save the Children Head Start since November of 2017 following substituting in Vernon parish middle school and elementary schools. My teaching philosophy is giving students the safest, caring, and undisrupted learning environment with positive coaching of education fundamentals. As I have volunteered in many different youth age groups I have found the best group I can reach is kindergarten through fifth grade. I also have a military career experience of 20 years and a wide variety of military leadership training and experience. I recently finished a master’s in early elementary education and am finalizing praxis exams.
I am a great math tutor because I love math and understand the Louisianan standards in Eureka math sequences.
