After accepting the job and going through training, I realized how much I absolutely adored tutoring! Even after graduating, this love of tutoring persisted, leading me here!

I have 2 years of tutoring experience at the Office of Writing & Learning Services (OWLS) at Loyola University New Orleans. I tutored undergraduate writing one-on-one, in-person on the weekdays and online on the weekends. I am extremely confident in my writing abilities, exemplified by my previous professors' testimonies and my score of a perfect 36 on the ACT English section.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. I am currently employed as a full-time graphic designer, so I am constantly using the tools within the Adobe Suite. I love what I do, and I am eager to share the knowledge I have gained from my classes and job experience.

During my time as an undergraduate writing tutor, I helped correct lots of grammar mistakes in my clients' assignments. I also scored a perfect 36 on the English section of the ACT. I think grammar is fun, and I know a lot of the rules by heart.

I've proofread countless writing assignments in my years as a writing tutor. I can spot grammar, spelling, and coherency errors with ease. My friends and family trust my proofreading skills enough that they'd ask me to look over their essays, emails, and letters.

Great teacher but better a great listener!

Right away Callie understood what I was hoping to do for my first project. I began it in Photoshop but to finish it needed illustrator and she jumped right in. I also wanted to learn the tools that are in Illustrator. I knew some of the tools from Photoshop already. Callie always moved right along if I told her which functions I already knew. This was so important to me. She is great.
