Hi! My name is Dana and I graduated from Arkansas State University with a 3.8 GPA in 3.5 years. I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and minored in Accounting while playing Division I college soccer. In addition to my studies and athletic commitment, I tutored college students for 4 years in algebra, calculus, and developmental math. Previous to my college tutor experience, I volunteer tutored throughout high school for grade school, middle school, and high school students. I specialize in Math but have experience in English, History, and basic Microsoft and Typing skills as well.
I have a passion for teaching and enjoy helping students increase their grade or score well on important tests.
Personally I was always a straight A student and increased my own ACT score from a 25 to a 29 via studying and tutoring. I would love to tutor high school students looking to increase test scores, improve math skills, or fine tune a paper assignment for English class.
The best way to learn is through repetition and relating to the subject at hand. Integrating hobbies into lessons can help students become genuinely interested in their school work and improve their grades overall!
