With over 10 years of experience teaching French to both children and adults, I bring a strong foundation in language instruction combined with a practical, student-centered approach. I hold two degrees in Education as well as two add-on certifications in teaching second languages.

I have taught in both in-person and online settings to learners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

My teaching philosophy is simple: language learning should be meaningful, structured, and confidence-building. I focus on helping students understand how French works while also giving them plenty of opportunities to speak, practice, and apply what they learn in real-life contexts. Whether a student needs academic support, exam preparation, conversational practice, or foundational grammar instruction, I tailor each lesson to their goals and learning style.

I emphasize clarity and progression. Lessons are organized, scaffolded, and designed to build skills step by step. At the same time, I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and growing in confidence. I incorporate authentic materials, cultural insights, and interactive activities to make learning engaging and relevant.

For younger learners, I balance structure with creativity to maintain focus and motivation. For adults, I adapt to professional, travel, academic, or personal goals. I believe consistency and encouragement are key to long-term success in language acquisition.

P.S.: I’m a native speaker (I’m from Belgium), so I will teach you real and authentic French, not the one you’ll find in textbooks!
