I graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting with a Biology Pre-Med track. My coursework included Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I and II, Business Analytics, Financial Management, and Individual Income Taxes. This academic background has given me strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in math, accounting, and business-related subjects.

I have several years of tutoring and mentoring experience working with students of different ages. From July 2017 to November 2019, I worked as a Student Assistant Tutor at Kumon in Kenner, Louisiana. In this role, I helped students between the ages of 2 and 18 with math and reading, assisting them with worksheets, correcting mistakes, and explaining concepts in a way they could understand. This experience taught me how to adjust my teaching style depending on the student’s learning pace and needs.

I also worked as a self-employed tutor from August 2021 to May 2022, primarily tutoring middle and high school students in grades 7–12. I conducted one-on-one virtual sessions where I helped students with homework, test preparation, and understanding math topics such as Algebra and Pre-Calculus. My approach focuses on explaining problems step-by-step so students can understand the concepts rather than just memorizing solutions.

In addition, I have experience mentoring students through volunteer work with STEM NOLA, where I helped teach STEM-based activities to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Overall, my academic background and tutoring experience have prepared me to help students build confidence and improve their understanding in subjects like math, accounting, and basic science.
