Hi, I’m Vincent. I’m a high school senior with over five years of tutoring and peer-instruction experience across a wide range of subjects and grade levels. I currently serve as president of my school’s National Honor Society, and I am known for my ability to explain complex material clearly, patiently, and in ways that genuinely resonate with students. One of my greatest strengths as a tutor is that I have very recently completed, and excelled in, the exact courses my students are taking, allowing me to teach material that is fresh, accurate, and aligned with current curricula and exams.

My academic background is broad and interdisciplinary. I tutor mathematics from middle school through Calculus I; sciences, including but not limited to AP Biology, high school Chemistry and Physics, Physical Science, AP and college-level Psychology, collegiate Neuroscience, and high and collegiate Anatomy and Physiology; and social studies, including AP U.S. History, AP World History, and middle school social studies. Languages are a particular strength of mine, including Latin at all levels, Spanish and French through high school and introductory college, ASL at the middle and high school level, and beginner German. I also provide ACT tutoring, with a focus on math and science, while supporting English and reading as well.

My teaching approach emphasizes conceptual understanding, adaptability, and student confidence. I focus on how students think through problems, identify misconceptions, and adjust explanations to fit individual learning styles. Being close in age to many of my students allows me to connect easily, anticipate common challenges, and explain ideas in accessible, relatable terms. My goal is not just short-term success on assignments or exams, but long-term understanding that helps students become independent, confident learners. One characteristic of my teaching style is that I usually provide a summary, review, or practice sheet for what I cover.
