My background is rooted deeply in education, where I’ve spent over a decade teaching and supporting students at various levels. I began my career as a 1st and 2nd-grade classroom teacher, where I built a strong foundation in early literacy, phonics, reading comprehension, and writing development. I later transitioned into school leadership and served as a principal for three years, supporting teachers, guiding instruction, and ensuring strong academic growth for students across grade levels.
Throughout my teaching career, I’ve worked with young learners one-on-one, in small groups, and in full classroom settings, helping them strengthen reading, writing, and foundational literacy skills. My approach is warm, patient, and structured. I believe in meeting students exactly where they are and building confidence step by step. I am especially passionate about phonics, reading fluency, and helping students become strong, joyful readers and writers.
Whether a student needs support with early literacy, help building writing skills, or extra guidance mastering phonics and grammar, I bring years of experience, creativity, and a student-centered mindset to every session. My goal is always to make learning engaging, approachable, and empowering.
