With a degree in English from LSU-Shreveport, I have been a dedicated middle and high school educator since January 2007. For nearly two decades, I have been committed to fostering student success, taking a personal and proactive approach to guiding each learner.

My expertise lies in empowering students with the fundamental skills needed to excel, particularly in English/Language Arts test preparation, reading comprehension, and writing. I believe that true test readiness comes not from memorization, but from mastering core abilities and understanding how to apply them effectively.

My teaching philosophy centers on connecting classroom concepts to real-world applications. By helping students see the practical value of their education, I aim to cultivate a deeper appreciation for learning and inspire confidence. The most rewarding part of my work is witnessing a student's moment of clarity—that "got it" moment when a challenging concept clicks into place.

I am available for tutoring with a flexible schedule. Please feel free to contact me to discuss how I can support your student's academic goals.
