I am a practicing professional engineer who uses higher level math every day in my career. I have a passion for helping students understand that math is everywhere around us and can even be fun! I love to teach and I love getting to watch someone have an "Ah-ha!" moment when a concept finally makes sense.

On a personal level, I'm a father of two young children. Professionally, I manage a team of structural engineers and one of my favorite parts of the job is taking recent college graduates and helping them to apply all of the math they've learned in college to real life applications. I completed my Bachelors in Civil Engineering in 2010, and just recently finished my Masters Degree in Business.

My passion for real-life applications of math make me a great tutor. Many people feel like math they learn in school won't be important in their daily lives, but love to show students that math is everywhere.
