Throughout the years I had the pleasure of serving in various capacities that helped me to thrive as a leader within education. For the past ten years, first and foremost as a Teacher, Mentor teacher through TAP, English Language Arts Content Trainer, Performance Management Specialist, Director of Schools and currently as a Principal has afforded me the opportunity to successfully work with parents, students, and other colleagues addressing the concerns and needs of our youth for the overall goal of student success.

Through these various positions, I have committed to make a difference in the lives of children throughout the state of the Louisiana. My desire is to develop schools to contribute to the success of young scholars by motivating them to take an enriching road to academic success through rigor, high expectations, and encounters with passionate adults that share the same mission as I do! Over time I have committed to fostering environments that were conducive to learning and supported not only student achievement but teacher professional growth. While in these positions, I have ensured that teachers and principals had the training and support necessary to work effectively in the educational system.

I have experiences and training within Math, I am only comfortable presenting math in elementary K-4th. I have served as a English Language Arts Content Trainer for an area. I have also developed writing curricular materials that align with common core and it's rigor.
