University environment and PhD in Linguistics do not make a great teacher, but compassion, love of the subject and belief in the uniqueness of each student does.

I always offer personalized, tailored classes.
Here in Baton Rouge I am interested in teaching Russian language and culture from survival level and up, for travel, business or fun.

I am ready to tutor English as a second language to my fellow expatriates from Russia and its neighbors. I can help with test taking or cultural immersion.

One thing the students have to know before they start a road of learning a foreign language: it is a long journey and the tutor can show you what to learn and how to learn, but the effort of absorbing the language is yours, and yours only.
