Hi, I'm Traelyn (Trae for short). I'm a Machine Learning and Computer Vision engineer based in the Baton Rouge area. I hold a Master of Science in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Computer Engineering concentration, Mathematics minor) from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and I scored a 32 on the ACT. I work full-time building Machine Learning pipelines and tutor on the side because I love helping students where I can!

Hi, I'm Traelyn (Trae for short). I'm a Machine Learning and Computer Vision engineer based in the Baton Rouge area. I hold a Master of Science in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Computer Engineering concentration, Mathematics minor) from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and I scored a 32 on the ACT. I work full-time building Machine Learning pipelines and tutor on the side because I love helping students where I can!

For high school students, I cover ACT Math, ACT Science, ACT English, and general math through Pre-Calculus and beyond. My 32 ACT gives me firsthand knowledge of how the test is structured, where students typically lose points, and how to build the specific skills and pacing strategies that move the needle on test day. I approach ACT prep practically by identifying your weak sections early and targeting them directly rather than reviewing material you already know.

For college and graduate students, my background spans machine learning, computer vision, data structures and algorithms, database systems, hardware design, and mathematics through Calculus III, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra. My graduate research on Hyperdimensional Computing was accepted for presentation at the IBM IEEE AI Compute Symposium at the Thomas J. Watson Research Center.

Regardless of the subject or level, I focus on understanding over memorization. I would rather help you build real intuition for the material than walk you through steps you will forget after the exam. I am happy to meet you where you are and work at your pace.
