Lena has been an incredible tutor for my daughter this past school year, and I truly can't recommend her highly enough. She is consistently punctual, professional, and prepared—always taking the time to review and study the material ahead of sessions to ensure it's aligned with my daughter's specific school curriculum. What sets Lena apart, though, is her ability to connect on a personal level. My daughter is shy and has sometimes struggled with motivation, but Lena has a calm, encouraging presence that builds confidence and makes learning feel achievable and even enjoyable. In fact, Lena is the first tutor my daughter has actually looked forward to seeing! When I mentioned that Lena might be available again next year, she lit up and shouted, “Yessss!” Lena’s approach is incredibly personalized. She’s patient, positive, and genuinely cares about her students’ progress—not just academically but emotionally as well. Lena was a great tutor, she went through each problem slowly, yet she ensured that I had a proper understanding of the problem by constantly re-inforcing questions, and overall explains concepts beautifully.

I am in general chemistry 2 and Lena has done more for my overall understanding of the topic in a handful of sessions than my TA and professor have all semester.
