Greetings! My name is Margot. I hope this communication finds you In the throws of love, laughter and learning! I don’t miss an opportunity to participate in it all. I attended Cleveland State University, graduating with a degree in social services and psychology. I later received a Juris Doctor at Cleveland Marshall College of Law. and moved to Dallas, Texas to work in the oil and gas industry. I traveled extensively throughout the Western U. S.researching, sometimes in dark, dusty courthouses to learn who the ancestors were of a piece of land which held hidden black gold,—oil. I then obtained lease or other agreements on that property.

I moved Louisiana and worked In education advising administrators and teachers about education and special education law. My journey took me to a private practice of family law and wills and trusts. I dabbled intermittently in contract and criminal law. If I had a specialty, it is divorce and paternity law. I also taught short courses (7 weeks) in contracts, tort, criminal. Workers compensation, property (common law and civil law)and west law. I taught law and poverty and common law real property at Southern University for 5 years in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Law is a business in which one must bluff the bear by being big and bold, while making a lot of noise. However, one must also move silently with a pocket full of knowledge and surprises!!!

My vast body of legal knowledge is a plus for students and my patience is always favored. Both Common law and Civil law, (also known as Napoleonic law) are assets for the lawyer who is diversified. I was barred in Ohio and Louisiana, and practiced pro hav vice in Mississippi.

I am open to speak with you and discuss further questions you may have regarding my tutoring style and my availability.
