Excellent, passionate about her work, effective and inspiring

My daughter is very happy to have met Ms. W. In just a few sessions, my daughter has felt motivated and inspired to see literature in a different way. She enjoyed the assignment and found out that Ms. W.'s help has made a huge difference. As a mom I deeply appreciate her enthusiasm and the intellectual encouragement she gives my daughter. Ms. W. is very reliable and we will continue to work with her.

Inspiring and patient

Lisa has been working with my son for several months now, and I can wholeheartedly say she has been a blessing. My son is a very reluctant writer and with Lisa’s help and guidance he is making great improvements in this area. She is always prompt and reliable and ready to get down to business each session. My son actually enjoys his sessions with her. I highly recommend Lisa. She is very professional and very talented.

Knowlegeable, supportive and engaging teacher

Lisa helped me zoom in on the exact issues that needed to be improved, by explaining my school teacher's comments and drawing out the corrections from me. I felt she was kind and genuinely interested in helping me improve.

Time Well Spent

It's like herding a stubborn cat to get my daughter to agree with tutoring on her AP English. She did it graciously but not thrilled. Spent several hours this past week going over things, and she has now confessed to me that she was very glad to have had taken the time, as Lisa gave her very good pointers and she feels it was time well spent. Thank you, Lisa!

Good teaching session

Good teaching session, she is knowledgeable and know how to teach. Would recommend her for tutoring sessions to anyone. Specially the way she gathers info on what learners need to improve themselves

Helpful and knowledgable tutor.

Lisa has helped me feel more confident about the ACT. After meeting with her once and trying a practice English test on my own I only missed 13 out of 75. She has taught me many strategies that I can use on the test. I am really glad I chose her!
