Prior to college, I took AP Music Theory. I completed a bachelor’s in music education. Music theory courses required for their major included but were not limited to written and aural music theory I-IV, orchestration, score study, error detection, etc. I received an A in every written theory class I took and most aural theory classes. Competent music theory skills are integral to my career as an active music educator.
Sight Singing

I took AP music theory in high school. I complete aural theory I-IV in college, which has a large sight signing component. I also teach sight-singing on a daily basis as an elementary music educator.

I completes a my bachelor’s of music education and certification in teaching music in KY. I have been teaching choir in public schools ages K-8 for 3 years now. I also perform in an adult community choir in my free time.
