I am certified in Special Education: Moderate to Severe Disabilities (All Grades), Middle Grades Mathematics (Grades 5-9), and School Counseling (All Grades) in the states of Kentucky, South Carolina, and West Virginia. During my five years of being a public school educator, I have implemented common core into my classroom curriculum. I am used to researching curriculum that aligns to the common core, keeping track of meeting all of the standards, and providing a variety of materials to meet the needs of the students in my classroom. I have experience implementing accommodations/modifications of curriculum using common core.

My bachelors degree is in education with an emphasis on Special Education: Moderate to Severe Disabilities and Middle Grades Mathematics (Grades 5-9). During my studies at Morehead State University, I graduated winning the outstanding special education major student award in Spring 2015. I have students every year in my public school classrooms who have a variety of learning needs. In my classroom, I provide the accommodations/modifications that best meet the needs of each individual student. It is my goal to get to know the students interest and incorporate them into the content.

Excellent Tutor

Brittany is both patient and compassionate. After only a few lessons my grandson has made great progress. His confidence has improved as he tackles some of the challenges in both Math and Reading. He loves working with her.
