I am certified in the Roxie Reading program to support striving readers and those with dyslexia, and I use powerful supplemental tools like The Night Zookeeper to build strong writing and spelling habits. For language mechanics, I pull from my background in Latin—teaching Greek and Latin roots, prefixes, and suffixes (using curricula like Red Hot Root Words) to dramatically expand vocabulary and boost reading comprehension.
As a practicing artist with over a decade of formal art instruction experience, I also offer specialized coaching across a massive array of mediums. Whether it's traditional and digital illustration (Procreate/Photoshop), fiber arts, ceramics, metalsmithing, character design, or portfolio development for older learners, I love helping creative minds thrive.
