I remember what it was like to sit in a tough math class, unsure of what was going on. Sometimes, just completing the homework seemed impossible, let alone building a strong understanding of the concepts.

We brought Alex in to help when my daughter began struggling in Algebra 2. We tried tutors in the past but she didn’t always connect with their teaching methods and the results were not what she’d hoped. She also suffers from crippling anxiety causing her to panic and not complete tests in the allotted time. Alex quickly identified the areas she needed to improve upon and created a detailed plan to ensure the same mistakes weren’t made moving forward. After a few weeks her failing grade was raised to a B and she was completing her tests on time. Her confidence is now at an all time high and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

Awesome Algebra 2 Tutor

Alex was a lifesaver this summer. My son decided to take Algebra 2 in summer school to get ahead in math, and within the first couple of days of the six week course, we knew that he was in trouble. He always has earned good grades in math, so we were surprised when he felt completely overwhelmed with the Algebra 2 material within the first week. I came to Wyzant and quickly signed up four different tutors for my son to try, and he chose Alex as the most helpful and easy to work with. Fast forward five weeks and Alex has helped my son earn a good grade in Algebra 2 in summer school. We will definitely use him again in the future if my son has any trouble with Pre-Calculus this coming school year.
