I am a Communication (B.A.) undergraduate student at the University of Louisville. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA through three years of college, and I am passionate about learning and teaching others. Both of my parents are English professors at UofL, and I have been lucky to have them as mentors for teaching, learning, and leading others to be confident and passionate about education. I love to read and write, and I have taken many upper-level courses in English, Political Science, & Written and Oral Communication.
I am heavily involved on campus and in the community, and I have held several leadership positions and served on political campaigns. I love working with youth and helping them reach their full potential, as I believe they are all capable of making the world a better place. I played college baseball for a year, and I am a big proponent of the importance of youth athletics.
I scored very well on both AP English courses offered to high school students, which gave me college credit. I scored a 33 on the Reading section of the ACT and a 31 on the English section. I am an avid reader and writer, and I am familiar with teaching many elements of the English language including vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing.
