I am currently working as an Instructional Assistant in an Elementary Montessori program in Louisville, Kentucky. I have been in the Jefferson County Public schools for 7 years. I enjoy working with the children and am patient yet, stern. I will incorporate the current "I Can", statements in my teaching strategies.

I have purchased The Hooked On Phonics program and use it at school. I believe the basics of reading include phonics.
