Hello everyone! I'm Nour, and I graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping students understand new concepts with patience and clear explanations. Arabic is my native language, and I have three years of experience teaching Arabic and Quran in an after-school program. I also hold an ijazah in Quran recitation in Hafs ‘an ‘Asim.
In my Arabic lessons, I help students improve their reading, writing, pronunciation, vocabulary, and comprehension. I also teach Quran recitation, helping students read accurately and improve their recitation based on their level.
I also speak Turkish at an advanced level, which I reached by learning the language myself. From my own experience, I know that learning a new language takes time, practice, and patience. This has given me a better understanding of the challenges learners face and the importance of staying motivated throughout the process.
Along with language teaching, I have volunteered as an elementary school teacher assistant, supporting students who needed extra help with math. I helped explain challenging concepts and practice problems so they could better understand their lessons and keep up with their classmates.
I believe every student learns differently, so I try to make my lessons clear, patient, and encouraging. My goal is to help students feel comfortable asking questions, make steady progress, and gain confidence in what they learn. I look forward to helping you reach your learning goals!
