Math is all about making mistakes and learning through experience. This is my approach to tutoring. I want to provide learning experiences, student-led discovery and questioning, and then direct instruction if needed. Students learn best through autonomy and confidence.
I have experience being a Geometry teacher in a high school setting, teaching students of many different ages and skill levels. I helped run the after school math tutoring program and tutored students from Algebra I, all the way until Calculus I. I became an educator so I could share my love of math and inspire kids to love math as much as I do. Math does not have to be the scary subject!
