I hold a Master’s in Teaching with certification in Social Studies (Grades 5–12) and am currently completing a second Master’s in Special Education, expected in August 2025. My academic background and ongoing training have provided me with a strong foundation in differentiated instruction, assessment strategies, and inclusive educational practices.
I have over a decade of classroom experience, primarily teaching high school students in a public school setting. I currently teach AP World History Modern, and I also support students with special learning needs in co-taught and resource classrooms. My teaching style is student-centered, with a focus on building academic confidence, connecting content to real-world contexts, and using data to guide instruction.
In addition to full-time teaching, I’ve worked one-on-one with students to support content mastery, improve writing skills, and prepare for assessments. I’ve also guided families in interpreting educational data as part of special education meetings and progress monitoring.
I’m passionate about helping learners of all backgrounds achieve success—whether that means improving in a core subject, preparing for an AP exam, or gaining organizational skills that support learning across the board.
