Accounting Professional focused on CPA/CMA tutoring

Hello, my name is George! Currently I am an experienced accountant with over four years of various industry experience. I have a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Ottawa University. In the past two years, I have acquired the CMA certification and just passed all four of CPA exams. Within two years, I was able to pass all exams, six for six with above average scores. For the CMA, I scored 420 for part 1 and 400 for part 2 all within 6 months. For the CPA, I scored an 87 for AUD, 87 for FAR, 86 for REG, and 93 for ISC within 5 months of each other. I was able to complete these exams while working full time with a family which made me think outside the box on how to use my time effectively. For all my exams, I only studied 1-2 hours per day on average. Except for the weekend prior, I never pulled study sessions longer than 4 hours at once. I also hardly took any notes, never read the books and did not watch a single lecture video for my last 3 CPA exams.

My teaching experience began back in high school where I would teach young elementary school kids how to play the piano. That then blossomed to become a side gig I did from 2018 to 2021 where I was a private piano instructor. My student, who was a young adult, went from elementary beginner books to learning works such as Beethoven's "Fur Elise" and Bach's Invention No. 4 in D Minor in a matter of years. I have also done some private tutoring about various accounting topics with college students.
