Hi, I’m Cait! I graduated in 2024 from University of Louisville with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a minor in Biology. I have spent the last 3 years tutoring and working as a Teaching Assistant at University of Louisville for math, specifically college algebra. I was Tutor of the Year for the 2023-24 school year at University of Louisville! During my time I worked with 7 classes with 1000+ students of varying ages and skill levels. I have worked with students one-on-one, in small groups (< 10 students), and in large groups of 25-100 students. I will be a high school math teacher starting this fall! Before I tutor, I learn about the student and their study habits, learning style, preferences, etc. I use this to create lessons that are 100% customized to each student. I am able to explain concepts in multiple ways and change methods based off the student’s needs. I am very patient and encouraging! I believe anyone can learn math! I am always more than willing to restart a problem or explanation (even if I just finished going over it!). I am happy to teach you how to multiply! I start where you are at and we will get you where you want to be!
