Through my coursework I have completed advanced classes in calculus, physics, and engineering design, which require a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to apply them in practical situations. My academic experience has helped me develop strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps for others to understand.
In addition to my academic work, I have significant experience helping others learn difficult material. I often assist classmates with topics such as calculus, algebra, and physics by explaining concepts step by step and showing the reasoning behind each solution. My approach to tutoring focuses on building a student’s confidence and understanding rather than simply giving answers. I try to explain not just how to solve a problem, but why the method works so students can apply the same thinking to new problems.
Outside of the classroom, I have also mentored younger students through leadership roles and outdoor programs, where I taught practical skills and guided small groups through challenging situations.
