I hold a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Pure Mathematics from Morehead State University, providing me with a robust foundation in mathematics and pedagogical methodologies. My academic journey has equipped me with a diverse skill set tailored to meet the varying needs of learners.

In my role as a 2017-18 Algebra and Statistics Instructor at Kentucky Christian University, I honed my teaching skills by delivering engaging lessons and offering personalized support to students. Additionally, my experience as a Tutor at the Purdue University Math Department and Economics Department, where I tutored for 4 years, allowed me to mentor students in courses such as Calculus and Linear Algebra, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic success. Prior to that, I tutored for 4 years in the Morehead State University Math Department and the Economics Department.

Utilizing technology plays a significant role in my teaching methodology. With advanced certification and experience in Desmos and Wolfram Mathematica Demonstrations, I integrate these tools seamlessly into my instruction to enhance student learning. Furthermore, I incorporate manipulatives to provide hands-on learning experiences that reinforce mathematical concepts.

I have a track record of success in educational innovation and program development. As a co-presenter at the Kentucky Association for Development Education (KADE) 2009 Annual Conference, I showcased the remarkable success of our Summer Success Academy Program, which boasted a 100% completion rate for 58 remedial students. Additionally, I contributed to the development of innovative teaching strategies and interventions that contributed to our high success rate.
