I have worked in the medical profession since I was 18. I have a degree in medical assisting and radiology. My goal is to one day to teach potential medical and radiology students in the future. I have much knowledge in anatomy and physiology, radiology science, patient care, medical assistants procedures physics, radiation biology and radiology procedures and positioning for radiology procedures. I work in a Dr. office currently working as a medical assistant, radiology technologist and teach patients lifestyle changes such as weight management and smoking cessation. I also have a master's degree in adult education.
I would guide students on study methods that I used for myself to help me pass difficult classes such as radiation physics and anatomy and physiology. We would play games that are related to course material to help enhance learning and I would also use other sources from the internet to help my student get a clear understanding of course material. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
