I'm Elizabeth! I graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Carolina State University with my BS in Chemistry. Since then, I have gained extensive experience in various corporate roles. I'm Elizabeth! I graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Carolina State University with my BS in Chemistry. Since then, I have gained extensive experience in various corporate roles. However, I have always been most passionate about helping others understand complex mathematical concepts, whether by tutoring students in algebra or assisting friends in completing their own mathematics courses.

Upon my oldest son's readiness for school, I chose to leave the corporate world to provide him with a home education. This decision has allowed me to discover my true passion for teaching and observing learners of all ages grasp difficult concepts for the first time. I take pride in working diligently to achieve these moments, even when they require multiple explanations and examples.

Through home educating my four children, I have honed my ability to employ various teaching techniques to cater to each child's individual needs while simultaneously challenging them to minimize frustration and stress. Additionally, I have had the privilege of teaching multiple co-op classes, including Physics, Chemistry, Health, and Physical Science. By utilizing the same teaching approach of meeting students where they are and balancing challenging work with reinforcing confidence, I have seen similar success in my co-op students.

Since 2007, I have had to opportunity to serve in various roles that allowed me to directly work with others looking to advance their own career. While resume building is something I can help with, my strong suit is in interview prep and helping others be better prepared and confident going into any time of interview. Additionally, I enjoy seeing those I assist not only succeed in gaining the desired role, but also in continuing to be prepare for their next step in their career path.

I have a bachelors in Chemistry and a love for math. I truly enjoy meeting each of my students where they currently are and helping them pursue whatever their goals are! I have taught multiple high school sciences classes for various co-ops as well as provided one on one tutoring for math from elementary through Algebra 2 and Geometry.

I have had the privilege to homeschool my four children since my oldest, now in 6th grade, started his formal education. Along the way, I have been mentored by veteran home educators as well as as used my research skills to learn as I go. I have taught multiple different classes at several different coops as well as worked with many other homeschool mom's to help their individual children. I have a passion for individualized learning and teaching each child in the way that works best for them.

It has been a blessing finding Elizabeth; my son has ADHD and high-functioning ASD, and Elizabeth has been very patient and detailed with him.
