You can ask me questions about a project you are working on or I can send you a small project and we can work on it together.

I fell in love with teaching in my late teens when I started teaching guitar at a local music store and my first job out of college was teaching Pro Tools, Audio Mixing, Sound Design and Music Production at Full Sail University in Florida. I find it very rewarding to have someone finally get a concept they were struggling with. If a student has a question I can’t answer, it will probably send me on a path to figuring it out.

Besides teaching, I’ve been working in video post production for over 20 years in Los Angeles where I worked on projects for clients such as Google, Nissan, Ford, Vizio and Nike.

I am a lifelong learner and teacher. I have held the titles of Video Editor, Sound Mixer, Colorist, Post Production Supervisor, Audio Instructor and Guitar Instructor over my career. I continue to further my knowledge through online classes that keep me up to date on the latest technology and techniques. I pride myself in being patient with my students and respecting what they want to learn. There is a ton of information on the web and I encourage you to explore what you can find for free. And I will give you suggestions as well. But learning an instrument or a video program can be confusing and it’s nice to have some real time guidance as you try to figure things out.

My passion for music is what led me to my love of technology and I’ve been teaching guitar and producing music on the computer all along. I transitioned to commercials, promos and branded content for clients such as Nissan, Ford, Vizio and the LA Times. I am a lifelong learner and teacher.
