I love to write and have a B.A. in English and history and an M.A. in history and a Master's of Science in Library Science. I tutored students in English for more than 5 years at the University of Cincinnati and currently tutor students in English and history at Thomas More College in their Center for Learning Differences.

I want to help students learn and to be engaged by what they are learning. I know how reading can transform your life and I would like to be able to help students get to the point in their knowledge of and enthusiasm for the subject matter that they will be open to having it really impact them in a meaningful way.

I have written four published articles in academic journals, 18 book reviews in academic journals and online academic journals and four book reviews in magazines. I taught English Composition at Southern Ohio College to a class of ten students. In my years working as an Academic Writing Tutor at the University of Cincinnati, I assisted students with a wide variety of assignments from remedial English classes to doctoral dissertations.

I am very enthusiastic about history. It has been a passion of mine for more than 25 years. I served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Cincinnati while I was earning my M.A. in history. I have taken many courses in Modern European history and Modern British history as well as United States history. I have many books on those areas as well as on world history that are current that I read periodically.
