CFA

I passed CFA Level II on my first attempt in 2026 after more than 500 hours of preparation, and I am currently preparing for CFA Level III in February 2027 on the Portfolio Management pathway, which keeps Level II material actively in practice. My preparation spanned the full CFA Institute curriculum, Kaplan Schweser study materials, Marc Meldrum's video lectures, the Schweser QBank, and over fifteen full-length mock exams, with my mock scores progressing from the mid-50s early in prep to the high-70s by exam day. Through that process I built detailed notes, formula sheets, and topic-specific drilling systems for every Level II study session, with particular depth in Financial Statement Analysis, Equity Valuation, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Quantitative Methods. I now use those same materials as the foundation for my tutoring, adapting them to each student's weak areas. My teaching experience began at West Point, where I served as a tutor through the academy's academic support program, helping fellow cadets in subjects including calculus, probability, statistics, and economics. During my own CFA journey I also tutored four study partners across Levels I and II, walking them through difficult topics, leading review sessions, and helping them build the study systems and exam strategies that worked for me.
