I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Middle Level Teacher Education from the University of Kentucky, with a minor in History. I am certified to teach in the state of Kentucky and also hold a certification in Google Suite, which I use to support engaging and organized learning. I have spent the past year working in the classroom, building on two years of hands-on experience through student teaching and internships.

During my student teaching experience, I provided after-school tutoring for 16 weeks, where I worked with students to reinforce classroom concepts and build confidence in their skills. My approach focuses on breaking down material into clear, manageable steps and adapting lessons to fit each student’s learning style. I strive to create a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing at their own pace.

I have experience working with students in grades 5–8 and am also open to supporting elementary learners. My background includes classroom teaching, small group instruction, one-on-one support, and after-school programs where I assisted with homework and skill-building. Additionally, I volunteered with a nonprofit organization mentoring elementary students, where I focused on building strong relationships and encouraging both academic and personal growth.
