Hi! I am James, a commercial designer who graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Interior Design. During my studies, I also explored Landscape Architecture and Spanish, which strengthened my understanding of design, communication, and the built environment. I have more than two years of hands-on experience in the design field, working extensively with tools such as Revit, Enscape, Photoshop, SketchUp, and other industry-standard software. I am currently pursuing my interior design certification to further deepen my knowledge of design principles and building codes.

My tutoring journey began in a college drafting lab, where I supported students one-on-one and in small groups as they learned complex CAD software and improved their drafting skills. Since 2015, I have also volunteered on a team that provides CAD support and training to learners of all ages and skill levels. Whether helping beginners build a solid foundation or assisting advanced users with workflow optimization and troubleshooting, I always focus on clarity, patience, and practical skill-building.

I am proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, SketchUp, and Cabinet Vision, and I enjoy guiding students through both introductory concepts and specialized challenges. My goal is to help each learner grow their confidence and achieve results they didn’t think were possible.
