I'm Ahmed, a Mechanical Engineer with a B.S. from the University of Missouri and current M.S. candidate in Robotics and Automation at the University of Cincinnati. My engineering background isn't just academic—I've worked as a Process Engineer at Honeywell/Solstice, where I solved real-world manufacturing problems using data analysis, root cause investigation, and systems thinking. This experience gives me a unique edge as a tutor: I don't just teach abstract formulas; I show students how algebra, calculus, and physics actually power the technology around them, from drones to robotics to smart manufacturing. When a student understands the real-world relevance of what they're learning, motivation and retention skyrocket.

My teaching experience spans both formal and informal settings. I served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Missouri, where I created lesson plans and guided freshman and sophomore engineering students through challenging concepts in MATLAB, SolidWorks, and core engineering principles. I also worked as a peer mentor to a group of twelve first-year students, meeting biweekly to help them navigate the academic and personal transition to college life—offering study strategies, time management tips, and career guidance. Beyond the university, I've volunteered teaching religious studies and leadership skills to groups of nine students weekly. Across all these roles, my approach remains consistent: I break down complex ideas into digestible pieces, walk through problems step-by-step, then guide students through practice until they can solve problems confidently on their own. I'm patient, adaptable, and committed to meeting each student where they are. My rate is fifty dollars per hour, and I respond quickly to messages. Whether you're preparing for a test, catching up, or getting ahead, I'm here to help you succeed.
