Hello!

I hold a Master's in Special Education and a Bachelor's degree in Education. Additionally, I am a certified teacher with over 10 years of experience working in classroom and case management roles. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of various learning needs and how to implement effective, individualized strategies.

I have extensive teaching experience, particularly in special education, where I worked with students who have a variety of learning differences, including ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum disorders, and intellectual disabilities. I have provided both one-on-one tutoring and small group instruction, focusing on reading, writing, math, and social skills development. My teaching approach incorporates differentiated instruction, ensuring that lessons are tailored to meet the individual needs of each student. I utilize a variety of tools, including assistive technology, hands-on learning activities, and behavior management strategies, to ensure that students engage with and understand the material.

I have taught students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, with a focus on elementary and middle school-aged children. My experience spans public and private school settings, as well as one-on-one tutoring with students both in person and online. I have worked with students who are on IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) and have experience with behavioral and emotional challenges. I’ve also volunteered as a tutor, helping students who need extra support in reading and math outside the classroom setting. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong ability to build rapport with students and tailor lessons to their unique learning styles and needs.
